Sound Hole small print

The hall is right in the centre of High Halstow can't miss it.

 

The format follows a typical maximum 6 Act show case arrangement of originals or covers.

Admission is by ticket at the door, free for musicians and £2.00 for spectators tickets are available through the website

Musicians should arrive at the venue no later 6.30pm for 7.30pm prompt start. There are other Acts waiting to play at short notice who will take your place if you are late.

The line up for the night will be arranged at the start by management.

Your stage time can be anything up to about 30 mins (determined on the night by arrangement with management) Headline or last act may be allocated extra time

Generally no sound check unless by prior arrangement and then only for special instruments.

Your CD can be played during the change over from the act preceding you during your stage time.

Bands responsibility to check listing on the web site as soon as date agreed

Sound hole finishes at 11.00pm.

When emailing Sound Hole print your band name clearly in the subject bar

Bookings may change at short notice at the discretion of the management.

Band must register on the confirmation database when invited atleast a 1 week before the gig to confirm attendance. If you haven't registered you won't be playing.

Sound Hole management reserve the right to stop and search anyindividual it suspects of carrying alcohol or drugs.

Sound Hole management reserve the right to refuse admission to any individual.

Bands are responsible for the behaviour of their fans.

The Hall operates a no smoking no alcohol policy.

Persons found in possession of illegal drugs will be reported to the police.

Equipment and possessions are left and used at the risk of the owners. Management are not liable for loss or damage however caused?

Sound Hole management reserves the right to use and publish in any format, Picture, Video, Audio recordings and band Demo's for it's own promotion.

Back line that is loaded on to stage before your set will generally be used by other musicians unless you specifically marked.

House Equipment

Pearl Export drums which remain in place on the riser. (If you wish please change snare, cymbals etc before you play, but there is no spare time between sets)

100w Marshall DFX100 guitar amp,

200w Trace Elliott bass amp,
House PA and Fold back ,
Three/four standing mics.

Own Equipment
You should bring guitar amps or any other equipment. It should be loaded onto the stage at the start. or for special items during your stage time.

If you have Keys or any other special requirements please let management know prior to the night.

Promotional

There is no restriction on recording performances on any medium unless stated on the night.
There are normally loads of people there and sometimes press and very occasionally industry so if you have promotional material please bring it
along posters etc there is the opportunity for you to sell CD's but please advertise them only during your set.*

There is a soft bar
